CLERMONT YMCA NEW BEGINNINGS CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER
YMCA New Beginnings primary goal is to provide a quality service by meeting the developmental needs of young children and support the needs of their parents. We are a NAEYC (National Association for the Education of Young Children) accredited program.

Clermont YMCA New Beginnings is committed to providing the highest quality of child care by providing successful, developmentally age appropriate activities. With the merger, we will be able to extend our activities to include recreational gym, recreational swimming and swimming lessons.

We serve a nutritious breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack each day. Our diverse programs offer Infant, Toddler and Preschool care year round, five days a week, from 6:30 am to 6:30 pm. We also offer Kindergarten enrichment during the public school year and summer care for Kindergarten children 5&6 years of age.

Infant Care 6 weeks to 18 months of age
We believe infants are natural learners. Every waking moment is devoted to absorbing information throughout their senses and practicing new skills through exploratory play. We keep individual daily records of each infants eating, sleeping and changing routines for good communication between our caregivers and parents.

Toddlers 18 months to 3 years of age
Toddlers need warmth and nurturing, safe spaces to experienced-watchful eye over them. Our toddler teachers have unlimited energy, lots of patience and abounding creativity. We set the stage for the toddler's need to practice becoming independent, for learning to interact appropriately with other children and to allow for gross motor development.

Preschool/ Pre-Kindergarten 3 to 5 years of age
Preschool children are happy, inquisitive, enthusiastic and generally excited about everything. They are more social: taking turns d, developing friendships and enjoying fantasy. Our teachers offer activities to stimulate creativity and promote imagination through a wide variety of activities, including songs, fingerplays and listening to stories. They have constant opportunities to stretch their intellectual, social and emotional development.

Kindergarten Enrichment Half Day & All Day/ Every Other Day Program
Where oh where do the little ones go? Williamsburg school district will bus your little one to and from Kindergarten. We also serve kindergarten children who attend all day/ every other day. While they are here fun,social,and educational interaction will continue. Our literacy based program helps pave the way for school, teaching letter recognition and phonics. Hands on activities will teach basic math and science concepts.

YMCA PRESCHOOL ACADEMY OF CREATIVE PLAY
The Academy of Creative Play is a licensed program by the State of Ohio and offers 4 eight week quarters per school year. The program is based on an enriching environment designed to encourage the development of social skills, creativity, build self-esteem, large and fine motor skills. All activities are age appropriate and center around the areas of math, science, language, sensory, dramatic play, art, computer, and music.Swimming lessons from our qualified staff are also included. Our progam is designed to build character by teaching the four Core Character values of Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility. Children must be toilet trained.Classes must be paid in full at time of registration

Beginners ages 3 to 4 years
This class is intended for children who will not attend Kindergarten until Fall 2006. Children must be 3 by the first day of school and toilet trained. Class size is limited to 14 children.

SCHOOL AGE CHILD CARE (SACC)
Licensed before and after school child care is available at various locations in our community. School-aged kids join in a variety of experiences,including; service-learning, science,reading,and developing and practicing of their social skills. They gather in a safe enviroment that focuses on making friends, building relationships, staying active, and excerising leadership skills.

SCHOOL'S DAY OUT
Give your kids something fun to do on their day off or school is closed due to inclement weather and you have to work or have some place to go. Full day care available at the YMCA with fun,games and swimming. Inquire at the Welcome Center for scheduled days.
