YMCA swim lessons are designed to allow the participants to have fun in the water while being guided to learn swimming skills. Activities are based on the developmental abilities of the participant. Participants will learn the basic skills that build on one another as the levels increase. They also learn about water safety, water sports, games, and rescue. Class levels may be combined in order to maximize pool space and accommodate families with more than one child registered in lessons. To view our class levels and information, click here.
We accept all persons with disabilities in all aquatic programs, asking only that we be notified in advance if special assistance is needed. Our facility is accessible for persons with disabilities.
Swim lesson fees are charged per person, per session. The length of the session may vary according to holidays and unforeseen pool closures.
We also offer multiple water fitness classes for adults, such as Aquamotion, Water Zumba®, and more. Check out more options on each Y's web page or stop by the Welcome Center at your nearest location.
If the class you desire is full or closed, please put your name on the waiting list of your first choice. You will be contacted as soon as a space becomes available.
