The Y is for everyone. Our programs, services and initiatives empower people to be healthier in spirit, mind and body, prepare people for employment, welcome and embrace newcomers and help foster a nationwide service ethic. And that's just the beginning!
The Y Early Learning Center's programs focus on facilitating the child's sense of industry, promoting a sense of competence, creating an environment conducive to positive peer interaction, encouraging initiative, supporting growth and self-direction, and free choice under the guidance of nurturing and caring staff. This is done in a setting designed for acceptance, respect and encouragement. Through all programs, YMCA staff work in cooperation with the goals of families. The program is designed to meet the developmental needs of children from 6 weeks to 5 years.
