The Y’s many different programs let you try new things, develop skills, meet new people, and show what you are capable of! All of our programs will help you achieve and maintain health in spirit, mind, and body.
School Age and After School Programs
The mark of a quality child care program is providing enriching experiences which facilitate cognitive, social, physical and emotional growth. By partnering with families, we seek to meet the developmental needs of each child. YMCA Child Care programs, licensed by the State of Ohio,
provides a curriculum focused on education, leadership and character development. YMCA After School programs ensure that each child’s time after school is occupied creatively and constructively.
Our School-Age Child Care (SACC) Program is a year-round licensed program, which is educationally, socially, recreationally and culturally focused. The SACC Program can serve up to 85 children, ages 5-12 years. We offer tutoring, arts & crafts, educational games, swim lessons, character development, community service opportunities, and cultural enrichment activities. Winter and Spring Break Camps
Looking for a great experience for your children during winter and spring breaks? Try our Y-Day Camp! Highly trained counselors will sharpen skills, teach responsibility, along with swimming, games, songs, arts and crafts and much more! This program is offered separately from the After-School Program and all fees are separate.

Our activities, which range from youth and adult sports and summer day camps to mentoring and leadership development, giving you the opportunity to have a healthier, happier tomorrow.
Community Service Grant Program
What is the Life Building Program?
Carl H.Lindner provided funds so the YMCA of Greater Cincinnati could provide residents of the West End who could not afford to join the YMCA an opportunity to participate and become members.The Life Building Program is a community service grant program based on your income and your ability to give back to the YMCA of Greater Cincinnati with your time and talents in exchange for reduced membership or camp fees.
Who is eligible for the Life Building Program?
Anyone who lives in the Carl H. Lindner YMCA service area and who can complete at least four service projects within a year is eligible. Membership fees will be reviewed for eligibility once a year.
How much will I have to pay for membership?
The membership rate is based on your household income. Please contact the branch for more information.
Guest Policy/Guest Passes

A current YMCA member must accompany all guests.

All guests age 16 and over must present a photo ID and sign the Guest Registry at the beginning of each visit.

Guests are permitted to use the YMCA a maximum of three times per year.

Upon joining or renewing a YMCA membership, members will receive six complimentary guest passes.

Members visiting from other YMCAs more than 50 miles away may use the YMCA of Greater Cincinnati three times per month free of charge. Each additional use will be at the full guest fee.
With a focus on youth development, healthy living and social responsibility, Y volunteers give men, women and children of all ages and from all walks of life the resources and support they need to be healthy, confident, connected and secure.
