STRONG KIDS CAMPAIGN
Children are our most valuable resource. Along with the basic needs of food, education, and shelter, they also need to be loved, guided and supported in their transition to adulthood. The YMCA believes that every child, regardless of his or her family’s financial situation, deserves the experience of YMCA programs and services. Through YMCA programs, families have the opportunities to connect and grow together. Whether a child spends every day with us or just a few weeks in the summer, the YMCA is an experience that will stick with them forever.

The YMCA’s Strong Kids Campaign ensures the Y is a place for everyone, and no child or adult is ever turned away for the inability to pay. Through the generosity of individuals throughout the community, the YMCA is able to change the lives of children in our area.

Meeting this goal means the YMCA can:

  • enrich the lives of children daily through before and afterschool childcare
  • guide children each day in summer day camps
  • teach children to swim and be safe in the water

Be part of the YMCA Strong Kids Campaign by making a personal contribution this year during the campaign. All contributions are tax-deductible and serve kids and families in Boone County.
