Our September Junior Member of the Month goes to Megan Haarlammert! She has been a member of the PCY for 12 years and has been involved in the gymnastics program since she was 4 years old. Megan joined the Powel Crosley, Jr. Monarchs gymnastics team at age 9. Megan leads by example in the gym and has a volunteered as a “Junior Coach” for two years. We are very excited to name Megan Haarlammert our September Junior Member of the Month!

Our September Member of the Month goes to Claudette DeNoma! She joined the Powel Crosley Jr. YMCA as a member 23 years ago to get active, after facing a heart attack. She tries to get active 3-5 days per week, with her favorite class being the water aerobics. She is a regular volunteer on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, making the coffee for our morning members. When asked why she loves the Y and continues to serve after all these years as a volunteer, she replied, "It's the people. This place is so welcoming and everybody cares about everybody." We are so incredibly honored to recognize Claudette DeNoma as September's Member of the Month!
