
Classes
are offered to members as a free benefit to their membership. Therefore, you must
be a member to participate in any water fitness program. For the safety of members
of all ages, children 8 and under are not permitted in the pool or on the deck
during water exercise classes. Children 9 and older are permitted to participate
if they have completed the youth and/or teen fitness orientation and are accompanied
by a parent or guardian. Water Fitness schedules are available at the Welcome

DEEP
WATER Deep water class using Aqua Jogger belts and/or cuffs to improve
fitness, endurance and strength.
JUST MY SPEED Shallow
water class, focusing on fitness for the total body. Includes cardiovascular and
strength training.
PILATES Shallow
water class adapting Joseph Pilates method of strengthening the core muscles
(abs, back, gluts & thighs) to the water. Improve flexibility.
SHALLOW This
class focuses on improving cardiorespiratory endurance. We work with the specific
properties of water, such as buoyant support and resistance, to provide a great
workout for most levels of fitness ability.
TONE
N TIGHTEN (TNT) Shallow water class, including cardio and
strength work to improve endurance and flexibility. Some core work and equipment
may be used.
WATER MOTION Shallow
water class designed to improve endurance and flexibility, using the resistance
of the water to improve strength. |
