*Saturday & Sunday at 3:00pm & 6:00pm and Friday at 7:00pm may have scheduled birthday parties during open play. Please call ahead during these days/times for usage.

 

CODE OF CONDUCT & POLICIES

  • Members must present YMCA member pass upon entry and sign in upon entry
  • Members & Guests must follow the posted YMCA Code of Conduct at all times
  • Members must be 9 years of ages and older to enter
  • Members 8 years of age and younger must be accompanied by an adult (18 and older) and be supervised by this adult at all times
    • Children must fit appropriately on equipment (The YZONE Staff can assist you with determining which equipment might be most suitable for you and your family)
  • Guests of Members may use the YZONE with visible guest pass
    • Members (18 and older) must accompany their guests in the YZONE
  • No Food or Drink is permitted in the YZONE
  • Please wear clean closed-toe athletic shoes
  • Members & Guests must use the equipment appropriately and within the guidelines it was created for
    • Members & Guests are responsible for any equipment checked out to them and they must be returned upon leaving the YZONE
    • Any damage caused by the member or guest to the equipment will be the responsibility of that member or guest or parent/guardian of the member/guest
  • Please follow the 15 minute limit(or one/two game limit) on all equipment while others are waiting (YZONE Fitness Staff will inform you when this in affect)
  • Max capacity for the room is 50 (YZONE staff may ask participants to rotate out of the room and wait 30-45 minutes or once capacity falls below 50 before they re-enter the room.
  • Members & Guests may bring active video games from home to use in the YZONE. These must follow ESRB Guidelines and be rated EC (Early Childhood)
    or E (Everyone).

Y ZONE - Youth, Teens, Families, Seniors
Opened Fall 2009, the YZONE is be a prototype for integrating technology and exercise into a regular program primarily focused on improving the health of young people. Interactive fitness and exercise gaming will be featured so that participants can engage in technology-assisted games that simulate different activities. The YZONE Interactive Fitness Center is in alignment with the YMCA's mission of building strong spirit, mind, and body and in response to the declining health patterns we are seeing in America's youth today.
