ORIENTATIONS
Orientations to the Health and Fitness Center are offered on a daily basis and
are scheduled by the Fitness Staff. Each appointment lasts about one hour and
includes an introduction to the cardiovascular and strength equipment. FITNESS
ASSESMENTS The Fitness Assessment program
is designed to evaluate your current level of fitness and assist in the development
of a personalized exercise program. The following components of fitness will be
addressed: cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength, muscular endurance, flexibility
and body composition. Based on the results
of the five fitness components mentioned above and one's fitness goals, a personalized
exercise program is developed. Any and all questions or concerns will be addressed
during a follow-up consultation. The consultation allows the individual to have
his/her fitness test results explained. The fitness staff then presents, in detail,
the individual's exercise program. For more information or to schedule an appointment,
please call 362-2102.
