GROUP FITNESS PROGRAM
Fitness classes are ongoing 12 months a year. You may join a fitness class at any time! Class Schedule is subject to change, please check our monthly calendar!

Members: Free
Community Participants: $60/month or $8/class

  • Cycling
    This 50 - 60 minute heart pumping class is a GREAT way to get an intense cardiovascular workout! Special Stationary Bikes make this a LOW impactive way to exercise.
  • Pilates
    This class is a mat exercise program designed to strengthen and lengthen your core muscles.
  • Kickboxing
    A high intensity cardio class that uses boxing techniques.
  • Muscle Pump
    Tone and strengthen specific muscle groups using low weights and bands.
  • Various Forms of Dance!
    Hip Hop, Salsa, Zumba, Capoeria! You never know what will be added next! Check monthly schedule for more info on upcoming classes and times
  • Body Recall
    Participants enjoy stretching movements performed so slowly and smoothly that they are virtually free of pain. At the same time they may help to improve strength, flexibility, balance and coordination. Contact the YMCA at 781-1814 for beginning date of session.
  • Yoga
    Enjoy a balanced, all-around development of the spirit, mind, and body. Hatha Yoga is yoga that prepares the body for the spiritual path via
    comfortable, stable, physical and breathing exercises. Yoga contains specific teachings that lead to bodily health and emotional well-being.

FITNESS CENTER INFORMATION

13 - 15 YEAR OLD POLICY

  • A Par-Q and a signed Physicians Consent are mandatory before beginning the program.
  • They must follow a specifically designed program.
  • Competition in the f itness center is prohibited.
  • Participants cannot max out (lift maximum weight until muscles are exhausted).
  • Proper form must be demonstrated before completion of the program.
  • Parents must be present within the building while adolescent is working out.

16 - 17 YEAR OLD POLICY

  • Participants may not max out (lift maximum weight until muscles are exhausted).
  • Competition within the Health and Fitness Center is Prohibited.
  • Proper weight room etiquette must be followed. All weights must be returned to their proper place.
  • Failing to meet any of the above requirements may result in dismissal from the Health and Fitness Center.

ORIENTATON
A fitness counselor will work one on one with you on the Nautilus and Cardio equipment. A training log will be started with recommended seat adjustments, weight selection, sets, and repetitions.

PERSONAL TRAINING
Are you looking for a way to enhance your fitness program? Are you in a rut with your current routines? Are you attempting to train for an upcoming competition? We can help. 1 Hour Session: $40.00
(6) 1 Hour Sessions: $200.00
(12) 1 Hour Sessions: $400.00

TEEN FITNESS
Teens ages 13 - 15 may take our three hour class and be able to use the Nautilus and Cardio only. A test will be given at the end of the session and a passing grade is required to work out on their own. Monthly classes are available. See the Fitness Desk for a schedule.

THERAPEUTIC MASSAGE (By appointment only)
Therapeutic massage is the systematic manual art of soft tissue manipulation (skin and muscles) which results in an impressive range of benefits to your health and well being. Massage therapy at Campbell County YMCA is a family oriented program available to men and women, infants to seniors.
