Multiple generations of families have benefitted from camp as it continues to shape and impact the lives of our youth. Now, after 8 decades of service, there is an urgent need to improve camp facilities. Because of that need and the needs of generations of campers to come, the YMCA of Greater Cincinnati Board of Directors has launched the For the Love of Camp Ernst Capital Campaign to create and improve 8 standing structures:

Under the leadership of co-chairs Frank Henson and Jennifer Shockey, the For the Love of Camp Ernst Capital Campaign was launched with the goal of raising $4 million by summer 2012.
YMCA Camp Ernst is one of the largest and most popular residential camps in the region, welcoming over 3,000 children and teens from all over the world each summer. Offering over 365 acres of rolling hills, lakes and nature-based activities, Camp Ernst helps kids broaden their horizons and become more confident, independent and responsible.
If you are a past camper, parent or just a friend of Camp Ernst, why not become a part of this campaign that will build on camp’s many accomplishments and shape the future of Camp Ernst so that generations to come will have an opportunity to make their own memories?
If you are interested in volunteering or investing in the future of Camp Ernst, please email Elizabeth Cochran ecochran@cincinnatiymca.org or call her at (859) 586-6181.
