Under the direction of the VP of Facilities & Property Management, the Project Coordinator will be responsible for Association compliance with municipal, county, state & federal requirements related to facility management, and the safety of those who utilize YMCA facilities & program sites. Responsibilities also include assisting with delivery of Association annual plan, including plan preparation & implementation. Other duties include updating branch infrastructure plans, implementation of plan items & fiscal tracking. Assist facilities staff with preventative maintenance, central purchasing, waste stream reduction & energy management. Provide assistance to branch facility & property maintenance staff. College degree preferred, with 3-5 years experience. Must have strong interpersonal skills & computer skills (Word, Excel, MS Project), significant knowledge & experience in project management, mechanical systems, preventative maintenance procedures & housekeeping functions. SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST (10/25/2012)
Under the direction of the Board Certified Behavior Analyst, the Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) will lead the process in development, implementation, and coordination of the speech therapy program. Screening, evaluation, educational program and transition planning, therapeutic intervention, and exit planning is provided for students identified with or suspected of having disabilities that interfere with their ability to perform daily life activities or learning. Professional judgment and clinical knowledge are used to develop individualized programming based on speech performance deficits in the areas of interaction skills, process skills, play, and communication. SLP regularly collaborates with other disciplines and services at departmental and system levels. SLP is expected to independently review outcomes and modify intervention programs. Clinical reasoning and professional judgment are essential to ensuring the safety of students and protecting liability of the school and the therapist. Education of a M.S. CCC/SLP or M.A. CCC/SLP required. SLP must maintain valid license to practice from the Ohio Board of Speech/Language Pathology. Must maintain teacher certification in the area of speech/language. Experience working at a school setting is required. Demonstrated experience of commitment to and understanding of inclusionary practices in special education. Demonstrated experience of willingness to work as a team member with staff and parents. Possess computer skills for writing effective IEPs and related reports. The YMCA of Greater Cincinnati hosts two sites as a State of Ohio Autism Scholarship provider. Serving children ages 3 to first grade, the YMCA Autism Inclusion program provides ABA instruction in an environment with 1:2 therapist to student ratios, speech and occupational therapy with hired Y staff, water therapy in zero-depth entry waterpark and pools, & inclusion opportunities with the all-day preschool. CAMP COORDINATOR (4/2/2013)
The Camp Coordinator oversees & directs the overall planning & operations of camp activities, including program development & delivery, staffing, volunteer & community relationships, budgeting & financial management, facilities planning & operation and administration. Must be at least 21 years of age, with high school diploma or equivalent. Post-secondary training in education, social services, recreation or equivalent preferred. Two (2) or more years experience in youth programs, building positive relationships with youth & volunteers, service learning and youth leadership development. Current First Aid certification & state-approved CPR (child) must be maintained throughout employment. YMCA Child Abuse Prevention training must be completed prior to beginning of camp program.

CAMP COUNSELOR (4/2/2013)
Under the direction of the Camp Coordinator, the Camp Counselor is responsible for the direct supervision of program participants in a seasonal camp setting. Plan & implements activities that are culturally relevant & developmentally appropriate. Maintain safety & cleanliness standards. Minimum 18 years of age. High school diploma or its equivalent preferred. Previous experience working with children preferably in a day camp in one or more of the following areas: outdoor living, camping, songs, skits, sports, aquatics, recreational games. Must possess & maintain First Aid & state-approved CPR (child) certifications. Must provide current immunization record, including tetanus vaccination. YMCA Child Abuse Prevention training must be completed prior to beginning of camp program.

JUNIOR CAMP COUNSELOR (4/2/2013)

ENRICHMENT INSTRUCTOR – GYMNASTICS (3/14/2013)
Gymnastics instructor needed to teach gymnastics to students of various ages and ability levels. Must follow YMCA of the USA teaching guidelines. Work with children to teach the fundamentals of gymnastics while following all safety procedures and protocols. Establish clear objectives for all lessons and communicate those to participants. Monitor participants’ performance to make suggestions for improvement and to ensure knowledge of course standards and objectives. Must be 16 years of age with prior gymnastics experience & experience working with children. Must demonstrate ability to teach a safe & effective class. CPR/First Aid certified.

SCHOOL AGE CHILD CARE STAFF (2/18/2013)
The School Age Child Care staff is responsible for assisting in the planning, development, and implementation of all curriculum and program activities at the SACC site. Will guide the development of children, ensuring a safe, enriching and healthy environment. Must be 18 years of age and a High School graduate or equivalent. Must meet all licensing requirements under the Department of Human Services of state & local governments. Must complete & maintain current status in First Aid & CPR. Must possess and demonstrate ability to engage in all activities associated with the daily care, activities, and routines of the program’s children, including but not limited to; interacting with children at floor level, physical education activities such as running, jumping, etc., lifting children and/or equipment, and participating in outdoor activities, field trips and swimming as needed.

Must complete and maintain current status in First Aid & CPR. Individual must possess and demonstrate ability to engage in all activities associated with the daily care, activities and routines of the programs children, as well as the skills to communicate effectively with parents. GROUP EXERCISE INSTRUCTOR I – WATER FITNESS (1/25/2013)
Under the direction of the Aquatic Director, the Group Exercise Instructor I is responsible for assisting in the instruction of water fitness programs and activities related to the program. High school diploma or equivalent required. Must possess CPR/AED/O2 and First Aid certifications prior to hire and must maintain current certifications during employment. Must obtain an audition score equal to or better than average of 3. Must possess YASA/Lifeguard, CPR, First Aid, Oxygen certifications, and Water Fitness Instructor or equivalent.
Salary Range: $10.00 - $11.25
LIFEGUARD (1/25/2013)
The Lifeguard is responsible for an accident free environment by overseeing the operations of the pool. The position is primarily responsible for staffing the lifeguard stations, minor facility maintenance, helping with other aquatic department and special events operations. Lifeguarding, cleaning, of aquatic area, and customer duties included. Must be at least 16 years of age. Must also be a certified Lifeguard, with CPR/AED, Emergency Oxygen, and First Aid certifications.

SWIM INSTRUCTOR (1/25/2013)
The swim instructor provides direct leadership, instruction, and motivation for students in swimming lessons. Must be 17 years of age; possess CPR, First Aid, Oxygen and YMCA Instructor certifications. Must have demonstrated ability to teach the development of swimming skills and the ability to instruct and observe participants in proper stroke techniques.

High school diploma or equivalent required. Must possess CPR/AED/O2 and First Aid certifications prior to hire and must maintain current certifications during employment. Must obtain an audition score equal to or better than average of 3. YUSA Healthy Lifestyle Principles must be obtained within six months of employment, YUSA Foundations of Group Exercise within nine months of employment. Additional years of experience & certifications may result in classification at higher pay grade.
