Name of adaptive program: Youth with Special Needs Fitness Program
What the program is: Leaps and Bounds- physical activities such as swimming, gym, soccer, basketball for children of all special needs.
When is the program: Sundays 12:00 - 3:00pm April 25 - May 30
Leaps and Bounds is also a year round program.

Name of adaptive program: YMCA Autism Inclusion Summer Camp
What the program is: The Clippard YMCA Autism Inclusion Summer Camp provides a meaningful summer camp experience for children on the autism spectrum, ages 3 through first grade. Your child will receive a program structured in ABA, 1:1 instruction, water therapy and sensory therapy. A low camper to counselor ratio helps the campers succeed and thrive. The Autism Inclusion Camp seamlessly integrates therapeutic interventions into the camp day so as to foster the campers’ language skills, fine and gross motor skills and their ability to interact effectively with their peers, while having fun and staying active. These interventions help insure that the children continue to make strides during the summer and do not lose skills learned. The children have a wonderful camp experience and receive the support they need in order to have a fun and successful summer.

Name of adaptive program: All Day Inclusive Preschool
What the program is: The Clippard Family YMCA is approved by the Ohio Department of Education as a private provider for the Autism Scholarship Program, making it one of the area’s few preschools providing students with all of the therapy and other services written into their Independent Education Plan

What the program is: Teaching individuals with disabilities to swim. Includes swim meets, the Special Olympics and the Dolan Method for Autism.

When is the program: Lessons are scheduled with instructors in groups.
Who the program serves: Children and adults with disabilities
Cost: If the Y can put 4 or more students (swimmers, who can follow direction) price will be regular rate $16.00 members / $48 for participants per person. These are seven (7) 1/2 hour lessons.
If there are 3 in a class, price will be $23/$55 per person
If there are 2 in a class, price will be $30/$62 per person
If there is 1 in a class, price will be $37/69 per person
This is a lesser rate than private lessons, which is five (5) ½ hr lessons $100/150.
