Under the direction of the Head Swim Team Coach, and in accordance with the Christian nature and purpose of the YMCA of Greater Cincinnati, the Assistant Swim Coach is responsible for providing the daily operation of a specific training group within the swim team. The incumbent will write and execute their training programs for their designated swimming group. EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
The Blue Ash Family Branch of the YMCA of Greater Cincinnati is looking for an Executive Director to lead and manage a $4.3 million operation. The 2010 budget is made up of $2.3 million membership and $1.0 million in program revenue. The branch has over 4,800 membership units and a 69% retention rate. The operation currently includes 245 part-time and 18 full-time positions (with additional staff during summer camp program). The full facility features: Two indoor and an outdoor pool, full-sized gymnasium, fitness center, exercise studios, child watch, large multi-purpose rooms and a day camp site. TEACHER
Under
the direction and supervision of the Preschool Director, the Teacher will be responsible
for assisting in the planning, development and implementation of all curriculum
and program activities in the Early Childhood Care and Education classroom. The
Teacher guides the development of children, ensuring a safe, enriching and healthy
environment High school and some college required; experience working with early
childhood education a must; must be at least 18 years of age. Individual must
be able to respond to the developmental needs of children, plan curriculum appropriate
to each age group served, understand professional ethics, including confidentiality,
know and can employ a variety of behavior management techniques, and communicate
effectively with parents and find ways to include them in the program. Individual
must be capable of directing the daily administrative, program related, and supervisory
responsibilities of an Early Childhood Care and Education program. Salary Range:
$9.00 - $10.13 per hour
LIFEGUARD
Part-Time certified individual
needed to ensure safety of patrons in aquatic environment. Life guarding, cleaning
of aquatic area, and customer service duties included. Must be a certified Lifeguard,
with CPR/AED and First Aid certifications. Salary Range $7.40-$855 per hour
SCHOOL
AGE CHILD CARE STAFF
Under the direction and supervision of the Site Administrator,
this staff will be responsible for assisting in the planning, development, and
implementation of all curriculum and program activities in the School-Age Child
Care (SACC) site. The leader guides the development of children, ensuring a safe,
enriching and healthy environment. Must be 18 year of age with a HS Diploma/GED
and experience working with children. Must meet all licensing requirements under
the department of Human Services of the state and local governments. Must possess
oral, auditory, and written communication skills appropriate for interacting with
both children and adults; Salary Range: $7.60 - $8.55 per hour
SWIM INSTRUCTORS
Individual
needed for direct leadership, instruction and motivations for students in swim
lessons. The position is primarily responsible for teaching all levels of the
YMCA swim lessons program. Must be 16 years of age or older, have current first
aid and CPR for the rescuer. Must have YMCA Swim lesson Instructor or equivalent
and demonstrate the ability to teach the development of swimming skills and ability
to instruct and observe participants in proper stroke techniques or obtain in
within the 6 months of employment or first available training. Must have the ability
to teach and lead others through organized lesson plans and stroke development
guidelines. Must have the ability to communicate with all parents and guardians
of participants on an everyday basis. Salary Range $7.60-$8.55 per hour
