SWIM COACH-ASSISTANT (3/12/2010)
Under the direction of the Head Swim Team Coach, and in accordance with the Christian nature and purpose of the YMCA of Greater Cincinnati, the Assistant Swim Coach is responsible for providing the daily operation of a specific training group within the swim team. The incumbent will write and execute their training programs for their designated swimming group. All coaches are responsible for the appropriate positive behavior of all swim team members during practices and meets. MEMBER SERVICES COORDINATOR (3/12/2010)
Under the direction and supervision of the Membership Director, the Member Services Coordinator is responsible for maintaining accurate membership records and assist with initiatives developed to retain membership. The Member Service Coordinator will supervise, hire, train, all Member Service Staff and Building Supervisors. Will assist in special events, and will provide leadership for membership campaigns and branch initiatives. Provides direct health education and promotion to children and families through a variety of YMCA programs (classroom and mobile). Directly responsible for all aspects of planning and implementation of health education program activities. Will plan, teach, and evaluate Discover Health programs. Will need to research and promote health topics, create new class materials (and improve existing), and perform other duties as assigned. EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
The Blue Ash Family Branch of the YMCA of Greater Cincinnati is looking for an Executive Director to lead and manage a $4.3 million operation. The 2010 budget is made up of $2.3 million membership and $1.0 million in program revenue. The branch has over 4,800 membership units and a 69% retention rate. The operation currently includes 245 part-time and 18 full-time positions (with additional staff during summer camp program). The full facility features: Two indoor and an outdoor pool, full-sized gymnasium, fitness center, exercise studios, child watch, large multi-purpose rooms and a day camp site. Program offerings include all major program components in health and wellness, aquatics, preschool, school age child care including 21st Century Learning Centers, youth sports and day camping.

The position requires an effective professional well versed in planning and fiscal management skills, strong emphasis on developing a diverse staff team; expertise in building volunteer leaders and board members; strong verbal and written communication skills; success in leading annual support campaigns; and the ability to engage the community. Under the direction of the District Vice President, this individual will work closely with the Branch Board in planning, operations, and financial development.
