Staff will be tracking their activities from September 13th to September 27th and sites will have activity packed programs from the 20th to the 27th. Simple modifications in activity and diet make a big difference. Save money and burn calories washing your car. Pick water packed tuna instead of tuna in oil. March in place while watching your favorite tv show. Meet Lisa Stinnett Turker!
Newly-wed in Turkey this summer, this CincyAfterSchool Tutoring Coordinator says her favorite part of the day is working with Kindergartners who are just learning to read. 76.3% of the 550 students she serves at Carson School qualify for free tutoring and Lisa is working hard to get as many applications as possible before the September 19th deadline. If you'd like to know more about tutoring at Carson, email Lisa Stinnett Turker.
