Young person is out with friends "with nothing special to do" two or fewer nights per week.

Youth are involved in sports, music, arts, and other activities after school and are in close proximity of parents, neighbors, and/or mentors during the majority of their free time.

Ready for College?
YMCA Black Achievers Program, Strive and Cincinnati Youth Collaborative are teaming up for the KnowHow2Go College Rally on Fountain Square from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sept. 6. This FREE TEEN event will be packed with entertainment from university dance teams, roaming mascots, YMCA double-Dutch jump roping demonstrations, free throw basketball, a Wii tent and music. CincyAfterSchool Tutoring, Youth & City Government, ArtWheels are in full gear! The Community Services Team can't catch a breath for all the goings on! Y Forms New Families!
Ninety-Three YMCA professionals from near and far, attended the 5-day Principles & Practices training in Covington, last week. Networking and sharing of ideas highlighted the week. Attendees divided into twelve "families" developed mottos, logos, and programs. The Y'saic Family hailed from 5 different associations and modeled their name and motto on the concept they were a mosaic of inclusion.
