Tutors go the extra mile
CincyAfterSchool Tutoring Coordinators offer tutoring assistance during the school day as well as afterschool. Teachers often rely on tutors to help students correct math problems or provide reading intervention and even students outside the normal tutoring program receive free tutoring during school hours. Our tutors become such a fixture at the school they end up going on field trips and overseeing school testing as well.

Kentucky AfterSchool is listening
You are invited and encouraged to give your opinion at a Kentucky Afterschool Network Issue Forum. Now is your chance to tell them what your thoughts are on key issues. Welcome David Martin!
David is a 1st year UC law intern who graduated from Lebanon High in 2002, received his BA from Miami U in English/Creative Writing, where he enjoyed both boxing for Miami Boxing Club and competing in short story contests. He spent summers working at Cincinnati Children's Hospital where he co-authored an adolescent sleep study and assisted as counselor on week-long trips to Camp Joy for patients. David, a life-time YMCA participant, is a welcome addition to our team.
