When Heru Lasana from Cincinnati Black Theatre Company teaches a drama class, he counts on his students to generate the ideas, cast the roles, and direct the skits. Students from Quebec Heights recently brought one of their own stories about Princess Petty Petty to life over the course of the 45-minute session. By trusting students to share ideas, we teach them to trust their own vision. By believing in their ideas, we build self-esteem and encourage students to see their ideas through to the project's completion.
