YMCA's Commitment to America
YMCA's throughout the USA are committed to three visions: 1) Every youth will deepen their positive values, commitment to service and motivation to learn. 2) Every family will build stronger bonds, achieve greater work/life balance and become more engaged in their communities; and 3) Every individual will strengthen their spiritual, mental and physical well being. The work of the Community Services Branch embodies these goals every day and we thank all our supporters who help us make these ideals real in our community, our families and our children.

Everyone Can Use a Pair of Gloves
Shelby Sallade, site coordinator at Hughes Community Learning Center noticed many students were not wearing gloves. Several of them mentioned not having them. The Hughes Staff decided to match the $5 that Rochelle Morton gave sites coordinators to spend at Christmas, so they had $20 to purchase gloves. Half the money purchased 20 pairs of girl's gloves. They are searching for a deal on boy's gloves. They are passing the gloves out as they see the need. Five dollars, can make a difference.

Know a budding filmmaker?
Do you know a youth aged 7-13 who just loves to make videos? Here's a chance for them to win $250 by designing a podcast of a virtual field trip.
