The Biggest Lights On Yet!
The Music Hall Ballroom was packed with kids, parents and dignitaries all enjoying the festivities. Claressa Miles, a 6th grader at Carson School is pictured here with Wayne Brady who was there to celebrate with us - mark your calendars for next years event - we're not sure how will top this one but we're going to try!

  
 

UBS Volunteers Kick off International Art Project!
Under the creative eye of Kerry Ginn, CincyAfterSchool Arts Education Director, 24 UBS Volunteers spent their Saturday painting, decoupaging, glittering and gluing the foundational pieces for the CincyAfterSchool Arts International Project, which will be installed at the Freedom Center on April 30, 2008. Kelly Wittich, the Charitable Events Captain at UBS's Kenwood office said, "I think we can all say that we left the event feeling great about the time and energy we contributed for a worthy cause."

  
 

Pleasant Ridge Feeling the Rhythm
Students at the Pleasant Ridge site have been studying dance with Kelli Ward from Cincinnati Black Theatre Company. Here they are exploring the rhythms of Africa and showing off some newly learned dance moves. Cincinnati Black Theatre Company is providing dance and drama for 19 sites this year as part of the Fine Arts Sampler program.
