Nominate Youth for YMCA Character Awards
The deadline to nominate a young adult for the 2007 YMCA Character Awards is July 1st! To nominate a teen that exhibits the four YMCA characteristics, please submit a nomination form with a narrative explaining why you are nominating the teen and how they have demonstrated Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility. 2007 Relay for Life at Kenton County!
On June 29th, the Kenton County YMCA staff is leading a warm-up fitness session for the participants of the 2007 Relay for Life fundraiser! Beginning at 7pm runners, walkers, and joggers will participate in stretching and warm-up activities before their 12 hour fundraiser for the American Cancer Society begins! Around the World at Camp Independence!
Over 83 campers are registered to attend camp this week at Camp Independence! This week's theme is Around the World allowing campers to discover different cultures and countries "around the world" and learn what makes them interesting and unique.
